1980's – The Children's Miracle Network Telethon fundraiser was supported with CMCA volunteers until 2014.
1982 – The traditional Easter, Halloween and Christmas parties were still held annually. The CMCA turned into a winter wonderland during the holidays. A giant inflated Santa Claus even perched on top of the center and "talked" to children every evening.
1982 – The Auxiliary converted an area at CMCA into a play area for children who came to the hospital on an outpatient basis. More than 10,000 visitors came in 1983.

The Children’s Medical Center officially opens its doors in 1926 and expanded through 1946.

The Auxiliary began in 1952, with 59 volunteers! Devoted more space to children with chronic disorders in the 60's.

Started more events such as the annual Roy Clark Celebrity Golf Tournament and the Arts & Crafts Show.

Rules for working with children started to change. The Auxiliary stayed focused on helping children.
